<p>Brad Friesen graduated with Honours from the Technical Communication Diploma program at Red River College. During the final year of the program, Brad had the opportunity to work for the Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation. Since graduating from the program, Brad has worked as an independent contractor writing and developing documents for several companies including PPG Canada and Princess Auto. </p>
<p>Brad is now currently working as a Technical Communicator for Emerging Information Systems Inc. (EISI), where he develops online Help and writes various types of training material for financial planning software applications. Brad is also the Web Ninja for the Manitoba Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC).</p>
<p>Brad is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys kayaking, hiking, biking, fishing, climbing, snowboarding, travelling, and the list goes on. He loves exploring new territory and going off on random adventures. In May 2009, Brad spendt six weeks in Peru. Part of his adventure included trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and also trekking and climbing several mountains in the Cordillera Blanca range of the Andes mountains.</p>
<p>Brad has set up a separate blog to document his travels throughout Peru (<a href="http://peru.bradfriesen.com/">Brad&#8217;s Peruvian Adventure</a>). </p>
